Layhams

Layhams Road is and has been the foundation stone of winter training for the vast majority of Bowmans founders and inspirations; the first road where urban sprawl gives way to open countryside vistas; an initial chance for the mind to escape the all encompassing pressure of urban life; despite the incline it is where we begin to breathe easy.

On any given weekend, its tarmac is covered by a plethora of club runs, group rides and solo adventurers. Its a true cornerstone of many of the capitals cyclists. Our dedicated winter training frameset plays tribute to this thoroughfare. Destined to become as much of a staple in the serious cyclists arsenal as Layhams Road has become to generations of riders.

It may only be a winter bike but, here at Bowman, we believe, the details of such a bike are as important as any other. Rather than rush to get our complete line up launched immediately, Layhams will be developed slowly over the coming winter. Tweaked and perfected as befits a bike that sees its riders partake in many more miles than most bikes in the quiver. Full fenders, stable handling, reliability but with enough life to keep a smile on your face whatever the winter weather can throw at you.
